About the opportunity:

As a Director of Business Improvements, you will partner with FCM Meetings & Events business leaders (Sales, Account Management and Operations) to deliver flawlessly executed processes and projects that improve business efficiency and drive results. You will serve as the leader and subject matter expert on process improvement initiatives while collaborating with smart and passionate leaders and associates to influence results that have a direct impact on the company’s bottom line. You will monitor data trends to measure effectiveness and install necessary benchmarks or thresholds to ensure data integrity. You will educate and gain buy-in from key stakeholders concerning the utilization of process to ensure appropriate execution each and every time.

We are seeking an industry-leading process improvement professional who excels in a team environment and is an expert in process improvement with a tech-savvy mindset. This individual will have demonstrated that they can improve company processes in the past, resulting in saving time and resources for the company.

Business Efficiencies

Identify and execute Business Improvement projects: analyze root causes and ensure goals are achieved through process enhancement as well as the elimination of redundancies while adhering to best practices. Meet with stakeholders and process owners to help identify new areas of opportunity, and develop project plans to improve Quality, Service, Delivery, and Cost.
Manage the project management tools, time management initiatives, and hours trackers across the business.
Oversee and maintain the training and development plan for internal employees.
Preferred Partnerships:

Contracting, managing, and overseeing the relationship and implementation of all of our event technology solutions. (Technologies include but are not limited to Cvent, Concur, Salesforce, Groupize, Basecamp, Olark)
Oversee a corporate Meetings & events preferred partnerships network industry vendors  (Industry vendors included but are not limited to: hotels, production companies, transportation companies)
Strategic Project Management

Create and lead projects to improve flow, eliminate process inefficiencies and facilitate opportunities for shared knowledge across the organization.
Experience & Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree or military experience
At least 5 years in Corporate Meetings & Events or Travel Management
Cvent experience preferred
Able to effectively communicate and influence partners across the company and across multiple levels of the organization.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic agile environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive and motivate a team in delivering flawless execution of process improvement projects.
Account management skills when managing technology and vendor partners
